These are some of my favourite restaurants in Bath and nearby. Some are listed for the food, some for the service and some for ambience or location. But they all, apart from one, have two things in common. They are owned and usually run by local residents whether they be British, Italian, Spanish, Indian or Nepalese. And I've tried them all more than once. The one exception is The Ivy and if you live somewhere in the UK where there isn't one then it's worth a visit to this one. BUT you must book beforehand as it is always busy, busy, busy. I've marked the ones with the best outside areas but The Ivy wins hands down on that front. Mentioning The Ivy goes against my principles but it is the only restaurant in Bath which we think ticks all three boxes - food (decent home cooking), ambience and service. But if you let me know what you look for in a restaurant I can offer more help.

HOUSE PARITES
We love doing house parties and well-behaved stag parties as there is just so much to do around here if you like an activity weekend. See ABOUT US page for more details.
GUITAR WEEKENDS
We also host Ronnie's guitar weekends which are great fun so anyone interested should look at Ronnie's website at www.guitarweekends.co.uk. Lots of music and lots of beer and wine.
BOOKING WITH US
If you'd like to call us to book rather than do it on our new booking system we would love that as there's so little personal contact nowadays. You will be our house guests so it is always nice to speak before you arrive then we can find out if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable!
